2012-04-17 Premier Classe leaving Bellville

 The Premier Classe is headed by E1464 and E1629 both in Shosholoza Meyl livery.


Note the diesel heater car (for train heating) following the two locomotives.

2011-07-19: Premier Classe leaving Bellville


Tuesday 9:34AM 19 July 2011 - The Premier Classe heading for a 25 hour trip to Johannesburg has just gone through Bellville station.


A friendly wave for the photographer from a crew member in the Shosholoza Meyl livery unit E-1629, also controlling E-1654


Followed by the heating unit


and the Premier Classe passenger carriages. The Premier Classe train is a subdivision of Shosholoza Meyl.


There she goes ... towards Stikland station


At the back the train a specially designed vehicle carriage can accommodate up to eight cars - sedan or 4x4 - enabling passengers to continue their onward journey the luxury of own vehicles.
