2011-07-23: Tripple Headed Freight leaving Bellville
The freight train leaving Bellville Yard is trippled headed by E1570, E1610 and E1612.
The crew give friendly wave to three men walking inside railway property - not unusual here, as lots of people cross the rails between taxi's in the street and their work on the other side of the rails.
The photographer is also given a friendly wave and smile!
The train consists of a mixture of rolling stock.
The first four wagons under canvas might contain cement - the canvas reads "return to DE HOEK" (Piketberg).
These wagons are all designed to transport grain.
The 2nd last tank unit is designed to transport caustic soda.
The EOT tank wagon is designed to transport petroleum gas.
