09:44 AM: 14-110 (one of the only 12 units in this class) heads the Blue Train just out of Bellville station on its way to Johannesburg.
These poweful dual voltage locomotives can take the train right through to Johannesburg without the need to switch units along the way.
The train goes at a steady pace as the passengers are enjoying the experience and are in no particular haste to reach their destination earlier than scheduled.
